Richard Artman has been actively developing, selling, managing and leasing retail, multi-family, industrial and residential real estate in northern Illinois for approximately 30 years. Mr. Artman joined the Inland in September 1985 and has held positions spanning from property management to land development and real estate brokerage. Mr. Artman is a licensed real estate managing broker and REALTOR® with the state of Illinois. He has served as an executive board member of Somercor 504, a certified development corporation of the Small Business Administration, a position he held from 2004 to 2012. He has also served as a nine year executive board member and former two term chairman of the board and founding member of the Yorkville Economic Development Corporation, a not-for-profit, private-public economic development partnership in Yorkville, the county seat of Kendall County, Illinois. In addition, he has also served as secretary of the Kendall County Forest Preserve Preservation District. His membership in various organizations has included the Homebuilder’s Association of Greater Chicago, the National Apartment Association, the Fox Valley Homebuilders Association, Northern Illinois Homebuilders Association, Chicago Association of REALTORS®, REALTORS® Land Institute and The Aurora Tri-County Board of REALTORS® and multiple chambers of commerce. Mr. Artman also served as an executive board member of the Oswego Economic Development Corporation for eight years during a period of historic and unprecedented growth. He has served as a member of numerous chambers of commerce throughout the collar counties. Mr. Artman has personally completed nearly 100 Million in sales since 2003.
