Franklin Peterson has a proven track record of success with over six years of professional sales experience. Graduating as valedictorian of his class and wrestling team captain at Somonauk High School, Franklin has a firm understanding of the history of hard work and strong moral fiber found in our local communities. Mr. Peterson has an undergraduate degree in Business Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. Mr. Peterson has a strong background in the mortgage banking field which enables him to better understand, process, and market properties for sale. Previously licensed as a Mortgage Loan Officer federally and within many states, Mr. Peterson quickly was promoted to Team Leader where he originated loans for clients as well as managing and training new licensees on the company’s processes and regulations. He also has experience in technical sales and marketing within the telecommunications industry. Mr. Peterson joined Inland in August 2016 as a Broker Associate, earned 2016 Inland Rookie of the Year, and is a licensed real estate broker and REALTOR® with the state of Illinois. He currently serves on the Board of Directors, as Chair of the Fundraising Committee, and within Leads 1 at the Plano Area Chamber of Commerce as well as being active within multiple other local chambers of commerce. He also serves as Chair of the Young Professionals Network (YPN) within the Realtors Association of the Fox Valley (RAFV) and is active with other YPN’s within local organizations. Being a former business owner, Franklin’s passion, creativity, innovative thinking, and tenacity are a welcome addition to the Inland team.
